Website Design - Basics To Doing It Yourself

Hello there.
Briefly, I'll show you how you can build a website for little or no cost.
All you need is a personal computer, access to the Internet and a few basic computer skills.

Whether your website is for family fun, a hobby or to create a business opportunity there is very little you need. Everything you do need can be accessed on the Internet.

There are three must have things you do need:

1. The first thing you need to build a website is a domain name.

* A domain name is your permanent web address and commonly looks like this: "yourdomainname.com". When someone types in your domain name they will be directed to your website.

* You need to register your domain name with any of the domain registration companies on the Internet. These companies are called registrars.
Check to see if the name you want to use is available and then register it.

* I recommend you use http://www.globeresellers.com/

2. The second thing you need to build a website is to choose a Web Host.

* A Web Host, commonly referred to as a hosting company makes your website available for the whole world to see. It connects you to the World Wide Web.

* It is important that you choose a good hosting company.
There are literally thousands of hosting companies with varying costs.
Cost is not reflective of a good web host. Good means a reliable hosting company with great support.
